Description
Belasma Serum — Multi-Ingredient Brightening Serum for Melasma
Belasma Serum combines several pigment-targeting ingredients in one formula, aimed at melasma, post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation, and uneven skin tone. It shares its core ingredient complex with our Adolite Serum — both are stocked as options with the same underlying formulation.
Key ingredients
- Tranexamic Acid — helps inhibit melanin production, often used specifically for melasma with a vascular component.
- Niacinamide — reduces pigment transfer to skin cells and supports the skin barrier.
- Kojic Acid, Alpha Arbutin & Mulberry Extract — tyrosinase-inhibiting ingredients that reduce new pigment formation.
- Azelaic Acid & Glycolic Acid — support cell turnover and have anti-inflammatory properties.
- Vitamin C & Licorice Extract — antioxidant and soothing support alongside the pigment-targeting actives.
How it’s used
Applied once daily, typically at night, to affected areas — always followed by broad-spectrum sunscreen during the day, since sun exposure is one of the main triggers that keeps melasma from fading, even during active treatment.
When to see a doctor
Melasma can take weeks to months to visibly respond, and results vary by individual. See a dermatologist for a confirmed diagnosis before starting, and again if pigmentation worsens, spreads, or doesn’t improve after several months of consistent use plus daily sunscreen.
